Eligibility for Paid Sick Leave
To qualify for paid sick leave, employees must:
- Have worked for their employer for at least 3 months
- Inform their employer within 48 hours
- Obtain an MC from an approved medical practitioner

The maximum combined entitlement is 60 days per year (hospitalization leave includes outpatient).
The 48-Hour Notification Rule
Employees must inform their employer within 48 hours via phone, text, email, or company messaging system. Failure to notify may result in unpaid leave even with a valid MC.
