Refund/Cancellation Policy

Scope and Applicability
This Payments & Refunds Policy governs all financial transactions, billing procedures, and refund conditions related to services provided through DrCertificate.com (“the Platform”). By completing a payment, the User acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to all terms stated herein, as well as those incorporated in the Platform’s Terms of Service and Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed through Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. or its authorized affiliates. Transactions are completed in Euro (€). Prices displayed on the Platform exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Upon successful payment, an electronic confirmation is sent to the User’s registered email address. Physical invoices or printed receipts are not issued unless legally mandated.
Nature of Service
Payments made on the Platform correspond to a digital tele consultation service. Upon order confirmation, the Platform immediately allocates medical and administrative resources and assigns the case for professional review. The consultation process is deemed initiated at the moment of successful payment. Consequently, the User agrees that no withdrawal or cancellation rights apply pursuant to Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, which governs digital service delivery.
Non-Refundable Policy
All payments made on DrCertificate.com are final and strictly non-refundable. Refunds or cancellations are not granted under any circumstances, including but not limited to the following situations:
- Non-issuance or rejection of a certificate by the consulting doctor.
- User error, such as incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information.
- Change of intent after payment submission.
- Institutional, employer, or third-party non-acceptance of the certificate.
- Delays within stated operational timelines.
- Duplicate payments by the same User.
The issuance, details, and validity of any certificate remain solely at the discretion of the consulting healthcare professional.
Refunds and Exceptions
Minor Change Protection
Where available, the Minor Change Protection plan (€44.99) allows a one-time correction limited to factual details such as name, age, gender, or address, provided the request is submitted within two (2) hours of certificate issuance. No amendments to diagnosis, duration, or medical content are permitted. This right expires automatically once the eligible correction has been used.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All transactions, obligations, and claims arising from the use of this Platform shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India. All disputes or proceedings shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cuttack, Odisha (India).
